OnePlus Nord 4 may be launched in the Indian market soon. It is said to be the successor of OnePlus Nord 3 which was launched in India in July 2023. The Nord 4 is expected to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 3V, which is expected to launch later this year. Details about the Ace 3V recently surfaced online. Some of the features of the smartphone, including processor and display specifications, were also said to have been leaked before. Now, there is news that OnePlus Nord 4 is in development.
Tipster Max Jambor (@MaxJmb) claimed in a statement postal On the X (formerly known as Twitter), the OnePlus Nord 4 is “next” in the expected release sequence and has the codename “Audi”. Previous leaks suggested that the phone could be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 3V, which is also expected to launch soon.
However, a report from GizmoChina also states that the OnePlus Nord 4’s moniker may be inaccurate. The report claims that the company may be skipping the number 4 as it is “considered a bad omen in some countries,” so we might buy a OnePlus Nord 5.
The OnePlus Ace 3V is expected to be powered by the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, which is said to have a similar architecture to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It is also said to be equipped with a flat 120Hz 1.5K OLED display and a 5,500mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging. The phone may come with up to 16GB of RAM and an optical fingerprint sensor. It is said to be priced under RMB 2,000 (approximately Rs. 23,400) in China.
Notably, the OnePlus Nord 3 is priced in India at Rs. 33,999 Rs 37,999 for the 8GB + 128GB and 16GB + 256GB options respectively. It comes with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, 5,000mAh battery, 80W SuperVOOC charging, 50MP triple rear camera system, and a 6.74-inch 120Hz AMOLED display.
